Service Description

The Content Room at Houston Community Land Trust is an upstairs space designed for content creation, media production, podcasting, photography, focused creative work, and small team sessions. It offers a quiet, dedicated environment separate from the main event spaces below. Please note that the upstairs area is otherwise restricted to event guests. Renters of the Content Room are permitted access for the duration of their booking only. Your rental time must include your full production time or work session. Please complete the booking form to reserve this space. Our team will send a confirmation email once your booking is reviewed.


Cancellation Policy

Confirmation and Deposits Your booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from HCLT. Deposits are not required for rental costs under $75.00. Cancellations Cancellations made more than 7 days before your session are eligible for a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations within 7 days of the session forfeit their deposit. Studio Use The Make Space Studio is intended for content creation, media production, recording, photography, and focused creative work. Any personal or rented equipment brought into the studio is the sole responsibility of the renter and HCLT is not liable for any loss or damage to personal equipment. Recording All recording and production activity must take place within the Make Space Studio only. Recording is not permitted in any other area of the HCLT community space. Furniture All furniture must be returned to its original position in the space before the end of your rental. Any furniture found significantly out of place or damaged will be subject to a rearrangement or damage fee. Capacity and Access Access to the Make Space Studio is restricted to confirmed renters only for the duration of their booking. Guests attending events on the first floor are not permitted in this space. Noise Please be mindful of noise levels that may affect other renters or staff in the building. Any audio recording should be contained within the studio space. Clean-Up Renters are responsible for cleaning up all materials, equipment, food, and personal items before leaving. All trash must be bagged and placed in the outdoor bins or a $250 cleaning fee will be charged. No Smoking HCLT is a no-smoking facility and any evidence of smoking will result in a $350 cleaning fee. Damage Please report any damage to HCLT staff immediately. Unreported damage will incur the cost of repair plus a $100 administrative fee.
