Local Nonprofits Providing Assistance and Education for New Homebuyers

Homebuyer education courses empower new homebuyers with knowledge and resources so they can succeed as homeowners. Our local partner agencies not only offer these courses, they also offer personalized financial coaching services to qualified homebuyers. A financial coach can help you become "homebuyer ready" by helping you create a plan to enhance your credit, build savings, and reduce debt.

Houston Community Land Trust-approved lenders are familiar with the community land trust model and its special financing requirements. Not all lenders offer community land trust mortgage products, so working with an approved lender is required for all homebuyers.
